PSA 10 Gem Mint - SGC 10 Pristine - BGS 10 Pristine (Black Label)

MBA Black Diamond

Is a pristine card, with attributes including four perfectly sharp corners, superior print quality, and the image must be centered 50/50 percent on the front, and within a tolerance not exceeding approximately 60/40 percent on the reverse. Note: MBA Black Diamond can ONLY be awarded on PSA 10 Gem Mint, SGC 10 Pristine & BGS 10 Pristine (Black Label) Cards.

PSA 10 Gem Mint - SGC 10 Pristine - BGS 10 Pristine

MBA Gold

Is a virtually perfect card, with attributes including four perfectly sharp corners, superior print quality, but an allowance might be made for slight printing imperfection. The image must be centered on the card within a tolerance not exceeding approximately 50/50 percent on the front, and 60/40 percent on the reverse.

PSA 10 Gem Mint - SGC 10 Gem Mint - BGS 9.5 Gem Mint

MBA Silver

Is a virtually perfect card, with attributes including four perfectly sharp corners, superior print quality, but an allowance might be made for a slight imperfection. The image must be centered on the card within a tolerance not exceeding approximately 55/45 percent on the front, and 65/35 percent on the reverse.

PSA 9 Mint - SGC 9 & 9.5 (MT-MT+) - BGS 9 MINT

MBA Gold

Superb condition card with four sharp corners that exhibits only one minor flaw. Centering must be approximately 55/45 or better on the front and 75/25 or better on the reverse. This card will visually represent as a Gem Mint Card, but under close inspection will have a minor flaw.

MBA Silver

Superb condition card with four sharp corners that exhibits only one minor flaw. Centering must be approximately 60/40 or better on the front and 75/25 or better on the reverse.

PSA, SGC & BGS (8 & 8.5) NM-MT

MBA Gold

A super high-end card that appears Mint 9 at first glance, but upon closer inspection, the card can exhibit the following: corners appear sharp to the naked eye, light ‘touches’ of wear may be seen on the tips of one or more of the corners under closer examination or slightly off-white borders. Centering must be approximately 60/40 or better on the front and 75/25 or better on the reverse.

MBA Silver

A super high-end card that appears Mint 9 at first glance, but upon closer inspection, the card can exhibit the following: corners appear sharp to the naked eye, light ‘touches’ of wear may be seen on the tips of one or more of the corners under closer examination, a minor printing imperfection, and/or slightly off-white borders. Centering must be approximately 65/35 or better on the front and 75/25 or better on the reverse.

MBA Gold

A high-end card that has superior print quality, but with an allowance for slight imperfection. Centering must be 60/40 or better on the front and 75/25 or better on the reverse. Over all eye appeal is the card at first glance is under-graded - characteristics of the card are above known print run examples.

MBA Silver

A high-end card that has superior print quality, but with an allowance for slight imperfection. Centering must be 65/35 or better on the front and 75/25 or better on the reverse. Over all eye appeal is the card at first glance is under-graded – characteristics of the card are above known print run examples.


Flaw Glossary

Minor Flaws: A minor flaw may include but is not limited to a light print line, light wax stain, light surface wear and a slightly skewed manufacture cut.

Flaw: A flaw may include but is not limited to corner wear, print line or mark, wax stain and surface wear or enamel.

Major Flaws: A major flaw may include but is not limited to accelerated or heavy corner wear, poor registration, a heavy stain or stains, excessive surface wear, pinhole, writing and tape or tape residue.
